Four scrapbooks containing newspaper clippings, many supplied by Allen's Press Clipping Bureau, relating to publications of Walker's Manual Incorporated, San Francisco, California. Two volumes contain newspaper articles, dated 1901-1915, about business corporations, most relating to businesses in California and other West Coast states. Each of these volumes includes an index of names and subjects. A third volume, labelled on its spine "Walker's Manual California Securities Press Notices," contains newspaper articles dated 1912-1930, most announcing new editions of Walker's Manual of California Securities and Directory of Directors, 1912-1925, and Walker's Manual of Pacific Coast Securities, 1926-1930. A fourth volume contains similar articles dated 1930-1934, regarding publication of Walker's Manual of Pacific Coast Securities and Walker's Cumulative Summary of Pacific Coast Securities. Laid in this volume are a few documents concerning copyright registration and a small amount of correspondence of Henry Davidson Walker, president, and related notes concerning publication of a pamphlet titled "Walker's Manual of California Securities and Directory of Directors: 1925 Edition: A Review of the Pacific Gas and Electric Company As It Will Appear in the 1925 edition of Walker's Manual."
